Bicycling through Wisconsin | Door County Travel Photography

One the the best things about miserably cold winters in Chicago is that it allows us to shuffle through the huge picture archive from the previous year. We stumbled upon some cool photographs and will be posting some of the finds in upcoming weeks. Here’s the one from the long, “end of the season” bicycle ride in the Door County. It has become our annual tradition to visit this beautiful part of Wisconsin at the end of October / early November. During that time the tourist are mostly gone and the towns are deserted, which gives them more charm in our opinion. Best of all the fall colors are usually at their peak. For us it’s an extended weekend of late night jamming, huge bonfires, epic bicycle rides and long hikes through some magnificent Door County’s state parks.
