Photographing Nikki and Ed’s wedding celebration in Naperville’s Meson Sabika felt like being at the party with our own family and friends. Everyone who gathered for the jubilation was warm, laid back and cheerful.
Nikki and Ed officially married late December in Mexico but wanted to celebrate their marriage again with their Chicagoland friends. Since, the pressure of the ceremony was off the table, the atmosphere at the Manson Sabika was celebratory yet very relaxed and filled with Nikki and Ed’s happiness. People laughed, mingled, shared excellent tapas and drinks. Old man winter blessed us with a heavy snow fall on that day. The white powder turned Menson Sabika into gorgeous winter scenery. The snow gave newlyweds a beautiful backdrop for their photographs, which nicely contrasted with their tropically flavored celebration in Mexico.
With its charm reminiscent of a European Villa, Meson Sabika is a great choice to celebrate the wedding. The building itself has a vibrant Andalusian theme and each room is a tribute to a different city in Andalusia. Moving through the maze of rooms at Meson Sabika also brought back some of our unforgettable memories from picturesque Andalusia. It reminded us of joyful two weeks we spent in Spain during our honeymoon.
Thanks Nikki and Ed for letting us document your wedding celebration and for bringing our Andalusian memories back.
