Jake and Lauren’s intimate wedding took place at Chicago’s premier Gallery 1028 venue on a pleasant August afternoon. It was a beautiful celebration of two families coming together and very inspiring to document strong family and friendship bonds, while witnessing a very deep cultural and religious heritage. I also loved how the area around Gallery 1028 became a rare quiet oasis in the hustle of the city. This somewhat industrial part of town gets pretty silent on Saturdays. It was wonderful to be able to wander through the empty streets of Goose Island, during Jake and Lauren’s portrait session, while searching for some rad light and interesting backdrops. Thank you for allowing me to be there to document your wedding day.
